There are many ways to design a web site and just as many programs out there to design them with. Some are free and most are not. Free programs offer a variety of different features but none offer everything you need to complete your design. Paid programs such as Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
often offer most features and make it easier to build your site for a modest price. Lower priced programs may offer some but not all features. If your interested in some of these programs click here.
This is where the CSS Code Assembler comes in. The Assembler allows you to produce the code you need for FREE. Yes it is not a full WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, But it will help you create CSS Code. It shows you all the options available to create CSS Code It allows you to test your code and once you find your unique design it allows you to copy and paste it into your web page. The program is a little older made back in 2002 but is still a very useful tool to add to your library. Did I mention that it's FREE. If your in need of some learning tools for CSS Code I recommend you visit www.w3schools.com. Also I recommend these books HTML, XHTML, and CSS, Sixth Edition (Visual Quickstart Guide)
or CSS Mastery: Advanced Web Standards Solutions
.
There are many other instructional aids that can be found here.

CSS Code Assembler runs in your browser and no install is necessary. This is an older program but should still work in most browsers. ( IE7 Users will have to allow the activex control to load.) ( Some limitations and cosmetic variations may be present in some browsers)
The Assembler has no banner ads or spyware. It is not shareware it is FREE. There is a short list of relevant resources that will aid you in designing with CSS but you are not required to use them and you will not be forced to visit them to continue to use the Assembler..
The assembler uses a add code method. What this means is you add the necessary pieces together to create your style sheet.
