Questions and Answers
Q: (how to open zip files on palm centro for free) How can I open zip files?
A: I do not believe there is a free program out there for the palm but a very inexpensive one which I use is LightNzip. There is also another great program called Resco Explorer. You can find it here.
Q: (how to update your palm centro so that you can get the screen that has five icons at the bottom) How do I get the command bar back on my centro?
A: Palm never got rid of the command bar when the created OS5 they just decided it was not a basic necessity since most of the commands are now accessed through the drop down menus. But if you must have it like me then here is a way to get it back. Download this free program FieldPlus2. It's main use is to enable users to use their 5-way navigation button to select text in standard Palm OS text input fields. But it also brings back the command bar. Now if you want to enhance that command bar a little more then download another free program called Skin UI. This will allow you to use your 5 way to navigate the command bar and if you want to add icons to the command bar for quick easy access to your favorite programs. Then get the free program called iconCMD.
Q: (ibm websphere micro environment java virtual machine for palm os centro) How do I run programs like Opera Mini on my Centro?

Q: How do I Delete JVM from my centro?
A: The same way you delete other programs. Select the delete option from the drop down menu in the standard palm os launcher screen.

A: There are many programs out there to help you achieve this. I use TouchBook. This is a good place to start and if you don't like this one there are others available.
Q: How to access my sd card on my centro from my computer?
A: There are a couple of ways I know of. There is the one I use it's a program called Card Reader. It allows you to see your sd card like any other folder. You can delete, copy, move files back and forth. Now if you want access to both your sd card and main rom on your centro there is a free program called Palm File Browser it is not as user friendly but does the job for free.
Q: How to access an ftp site with my palm centro?
A: I use a free program called EzFTP. that i use. There is another program called Resco Explorer that does an excellent job but it's not free. You can find Resco Explorer here.
Q:How to I access the files on my sd card?
A: In the palm launcher screen you should see an icon called files. This will allow you to view the files on your sd card but not on your palm internal memory card. If you want to access both the I suggest FileZ for that. If you want to access your files from your pc then try CardReader or Palm File Browser
